Dado Moroni was born and raised in Genoa, Italy, and took to jazz early. Originally self-taught, Moroni would heed the advice of a family friend and study piano formally, eventually gigging with local Italian, as well visiting American musicians. After establishing a career in Europe, Moroni moved to NY in 1991. He has played with Freddie Hubbard, Ron Carter, Ahmad Jamal, and many more.
